Ocracoke Island Cottage sits on a tree-lined street just a short walk from the famous Ocracoke Ferry, the village green, and the harbor. This carefully restored 1909 Victorian was once the home of a lighthouse keeper's family — and it still carries the warmth and character of that history.
We've preserved the original hardwood floors, the wraparound porch, and the thoughtful details that make this cottage feel like coming home. Every morning, you'll hear the water, the wind, and the occasional bell of a sailboat. Every evening, the light turns everything gold.

Each room is individually furnished with antique pieces and fresh linens, designed for restful nights and slow mornings.
Heart pine floors, original moldings, and period hardware throughout — preserved with care, never overwritten.

Equipped for simple island cooking — a gas range, cast iron, and every vessel you might need. The dining table seats six comfortably.

Located on Cutting Sage Road, our cottage is a short stroll from everything that makes Ocracoke Village special — the silver sand beach, the historic harbor, the Ocracoke Library, and the cafés and shops along Main Street.
The famous Ocracoke Ferry terminal is just a few minutes away, and the village is small enough to explore entirely on foot or bicycle. No car needed — and no rush either.
